    Hi
I am considering Dry Needling a very Stubborn verruca on the plantar/met area overlying the 3rd/4th met area.
What is the best method of anaesthetising this area. If by infiltration from which aspect of approach i.e. webbing or lateral aspect of foot or dorsum ?? Any thoughts?

    Hi Judy,
When I learned the principles of LA, an infiltration via the webbing of the toes would be the way to go with the scenario you have described.

However, now Podiatrists are taught how to do ankle blocks which gives a bit more scope.

May I suggest you post in another forum to get your post noticed a bit more. (Maybe the Private Practice one) There are a plethera of experienced pods on here and also Pod Surgeons who might be able to advise you better than I can.
