I wonder if anyone can help. I had a reflexology client presenting with swollen feet which I presumed was a result of immobility and build up of lymph. She is wheelchair bound & suffers from MS.

Her main problem was on the heel of her right foot. It appeared very angry & inflamed (burning) surrounding an almost blister-like patch (very painful). It almost looks bruised in the centre. I have attached a photo taken on her carers phone. My first thoughts were pressure sore.
I used reflexology to reduce the swelling in the feet and improve colour to a more healthy tone but did not touch the right heel. I recommended that she see her GP in case it required dressing/antibiotics. And also the podiatrist asap.
