Chris McDougall, now looking for something to do after he wrote the half-truth-filled, cherry-picking book about the evils of cushioned running shoes and the benefits of barefoot running in his book "Born to Run", is now writing about something he knows much more about....

I suspected "Born to Run" was just a long winded tale (endurance pun intended ;))... there was numerous titbits of lies & exaggeration from McDougall years ago pertaining to his account of events... not to mention the 'science' based lies & exaggeration from Lieberman (to pad up the book).

It wouldn't surprise me that the making of a movie from such a book would quickly lose substance once the production staff started to see the lies, exaggeration & inconsistencies shine through... not to mention the loss of interest on the fad created.

However, speaking of a real running book called "Born to Run"... the story of multiple world record holder & Olympic champion, Sebastian Coe... is there any word if this movie is in production? There was rumours that Daniel Radcliffe was going to play the part of Coe. Near impossible task of him if you ask me - hey, maybe he's still in heavy training for the role (i.e. working on that effortless flowing technique Coe had... & that burst of speed)... then again, we do live in the era of CGI movies (where all sorts of creatures can be made to look real).
