We now have access to a local radiology service that has EOS to access client skeletal position and length in a standing position very quick and accurate with low radiation dosage all done with cost covered by Medicare
I like a simple Standing AP Pelvic X-ray in normal stance to check hip heights, pelvic tilts, and lumbar issues. The secret is to take the xrays with no lifts if they have already been given some, and in their present orthotics if the the orthotics place them in good position. If they are functionally asymmetrical, and it is not normalized by their present orthotic devices, they need to be placed by you in subtalar neutral prior to the X-ray image. This can be difficult due to coordination of time.
