    is it possible to measure femoral anteversion and antetorsion clinically?

    just walked into my office after giving a lecture on this!!! (I can tell by your IP address that you up Newcastle way, so you weren't in the lecture!).

    SHort answer is no to measuring clinically - BUT you can measure its effects on gait clinically (ie gait aangle), but can't rule out the contributions of other segments.

    The only way to measure it is through imaging techniques.

  4. Which definition is being used currently for femoral anterversion, antetorsion, retroversion, and retrotorsion? The last time I checked, I decided to quit using these terms since the orthopedic literature was confusing because there was no consensus on what these terms actually meant.
