anyone know of bodyboarding flippers that come in extra widths or styles that reduce pressure over tailor bunions? going to try a few other tricks up the sleeve with the current problematic flippers (pain over lateral aspect of both 5th MTPJs only when he's boarding nil problems otherwise) but just thought i'd throw it out there in case someone has had a similar issue.

    any suggestions would be useful!

    cheers!

  2. Does he wear wet-suit socks or booties with his fins? If he does, and I'd encourage him to, then you can take some neoprene, make a doughnut pad for his bunion and use neoprene cement to adhere it to his socks / booties.

  3. Or just cut a hole out of the part of his fins that's pressing on his onion.
