Knowing where you are may help us to guide you, as not all brands are available in every country

    Dear Moggy,

For retail off- the shelf solutions, DB Shoes list 5 retailers in Oxfordshire:

    http://www.dbshoes.co.uk/find_a_retailer.php

Hotter Shoes seem to prefer selling online, which is not ideal given most people's preference for buying shoes that are too small.

The Society of Shoe fitters is usually reliable for fitting troublesome feet. Their list of members is here:

    Kind regards,

    Chris

    Dear Moggy

There is a website for the Independent Shoemaker's Network.

    www.shoemakers.org.uk

It has 21 different companies on it, all in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

Prices for made-to-measure range from £150 for stitch down shoes to £2000 for fine bespoke West End London companies.

Many are in the mid-range of those prices.
