Hi I am working with a physio and podiatrist and we are looking to set up video analysis. We have looked into a range of software programs but our issue is with the camera's. We do not need anything to expensive, 25-50fps would be adequate, however, as we are in the UK finding a camera with firewire is very difficult. we have a couple of panasonic sd60 cameras but they do not have any firewire or av options. I understand to use live feed / video analysis with silicon coach you can run a converter such as the Hauppage piece of equipment but our cameras only have a av multi output so the three av plugs will not go into the camera. Can anyone help at all I am rather confused.

Though if you are looking for a simple set up, it’s worth considering a normal video camera not too expensive at all, have a look at John Lewis online. Possibly with 5x optical zoom with a SD card.
And download Kinovia to play back images.

Hi Andy,
Had a look at the specs for your camera and the Hauppage device will work on this camera. All you need to do is plug the AV multi cable into the camera, plug the red white and yellow cables into the hauppage red white and yelow plugs and then plug the other end of the hauppage into the USB plug on your computer.
