    Around 5yrs ago I had a Bi-Lateral Gastrocnemius Recession done to help with severe pain in both feet when weight-bearing and to help get me off high doses of OxyContin. No longer on pain meds and my feet no longer hurt to the degree they did pre-surgery. However, since the surgery my calf muscle area has never been the same.
