Step Forward Podiatry – Job Opportunity


Step Forward Podiatry have an amazing opportunity available.
We are looking for a new member of our team in Takapuna, Auckland.
We are searching for a podiatrist who will lead the Podiatry team, fit nicely into our work culture, and has an inner drive for continual improvement. You must love helping people of all ages and backgrounds with all different types of podiatry needs, including sports podiatry, orthotic therapy, footwear assessment and education, and paediatrics.

About Us:
· We are a private practice in Takapuna, North Shore, Auckland.
· We are located within a Medical Practice which includes, GP’s, Physiotherapy, Radiology, a Pharmacy and Eye Specialists.
· We use Cliniko for appointment booking, billing and clinical notes.
· We have full time reception staff and online bookings available.
· We prescribe to orthotic laboratories and we also manufacture our own EVA devices in our lab, as needed.
· We treat all aspects of podiatry including: biomechanics, general care, ingrown toenails surgeries, paediatric patients, and diabetes.

About the Position:
· Senior Podiatrist needed for a part-time (3.5 days) which can include Saturdays, 9am – 12.30pm.
· The successful applicant will agree to extensive training with all our Podiatrists to ensure that we provide a consistent experience to our patients.
· You must be open to constructive feedback and strive for continual improvement.

Your Desirable Attributes:
· Minimum of 3-year experience in Private Practice is needed.
· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with colleagues, other health practitioners and patients of all ages and backgrounds.
· Familiarity with orthotic manufacturing and modifications.
· High level of autonomy with general care patients.
· Sound knowledge of footwear brands.
· Attention to detail and taking pride in your work.
