    Young girl of 19 been suffering with nail infection for over a year. She has had Terbinafine cream from the GP and since there was no improvement she tried a liquid from Boots the chemist called Nailner.
    I suggested trying Mykored. She is concerned that her nail might eventually drop off!
    Could you please give an opinion.

    Can't tell, from picture, if this is bacterial, yeast or fungal. I've seen similar nails when there is a bacterial paronychia. I'd very likely recommend the patient to have the nail removed, sent to the lab for analysis, and treated according to findings. A year is a long time to putz around!
