:welcome: to the Arena, You`ll find it an invaluable source of info during and after your studies.

I graduated from Soton in 2007. After a year of working in the NHS, I am now a full time private practitioner. I would certainly recommend doing at least a year in the public sector, for all the reasons outlined in the thread `Should 12 months NHS be mandatory`

You are welcome to come and have a chat and nose around my clinic, if you want.

Thanks for your reply. I would love to come and see your practice that would be great. Do you have a website? I am a mature student decided to take the plunge of returning to University. I totally love it the course everything. I am very happy.

I had my own business for 11 yrs doing something completely different. I am lucky as before I started Uni I worked in a private practice for three months where I was very fortunate to do nail cutting, autoclaving, assisting in nail surgery. It was brilliant.
