    Hi all

I have just read April's newsletter from the HPC.

Page 3 states their intention and expectations for participants in blogs and networking sites.

Be interesting to see how they propose to regulate that !!:bang:

    Cheers

Indeed .... Podiatry Arena is not subject to the UK's Data Protection Act (1998), but is subject to the Victoria state Information Privacy Act (2000), so we not going to give out IP addresses and other identifying information unless required by a court order under that act. The chances of that happening are also subject to international legal jurisdictions.... legal nightmare ... been there done that :D

So those regulated by the HPC can be hammered for what they might do online, but those unregulated can dish out bad advice and nonsense online and not be held accountable. That does not make a lot of sense to me.

What about the advice given in this discussion for diabetics to not wear shoes around the house (assuming this was based in the UK):

Why can't those who give bad advice online also be held accountable?
