    Hello

I am an international student and I have an offer to study podiatry at the university of Brighton, I am not sure if this is the right choice as podiatry as a profession is not particularly known in my country so I would like to know about the job prospects of podiatry in UK as well as other countries as I have heard that it is in demand in countries like Singapore and Hong Kong but I have also heard from some that it is saturated and job opportunities are limited and not the same as physiotherapy or nursing .

    Thank you

Job prospects around the world seem to be pretty good at the moment. You do see comments in different places that people are struggling to find staff.

Whereabouts are you from? And where are you willing to go? I am a first year student in Australia and someone in my class is apparently being sponsored by his home country (Saudi Arabia) to study here as they have a shortage of practitioners. I think I've somewhere heard that the Middle East is in general short of podiatrists...so a) study podiatry and b) learn Arabic and you'll be right as rain ;)
