Where additions to the literature reign supreme,I suggest my fellow Arena Members and I prove how much we can add to the subject of Biomechanics annually when it comes to EBM .

I, unfortunately, have none to add this year.

    I had a quiet year:

McMillan AM, Payne C. Immediate effect of foot orthoses on plantar force timing during running: A repeated measures study. The Foot 2011; 1: 26-30.

Bennell KL, Bowles K-A, Payne C, Cicuttini F, Williamson E, Forbes A, Hanna F, Davies-Tuck M, Harris A, Hinman RS. Lateral wedge insoles for medial knee osteoarthritis: 12 month randomised controlled trial. British Medical Journal 2011; 342: 10.1136/

I had a quiet year also - after all - I am meant to be retired (retired - what a joke!): Zipfel B., DeSilva J.M., Kidd R.S., Carlson K.J., Churchill S.E., Berger L.R. 2011 The Foot and Ankle of Australopithecus sediba. Science 333 1417-1420 (it is in the SOM [supplementary online material] that the real story comes out).

And please - do not tell me that this is not biomechanics. Those that think so should go back to science school and find out what biomechanics really is. Rob

Looks like the rest f us have had a totally quiet year.

I wonder why the call for high level evidence when as a group, you offer very little of it yourselves?
