Are there any contraindications in using local anesthesia for a toe block? For example, poor circulation, or any medical conditions that would increase the risk of systemic effects?

 

It would probably be best to consult your lecture notes, and if still in doubt contact your teacher. In addition, there is a multitude of information in standard podiatry texts and on line.
