Hello podiatry arena. 2009 i was diagnosed with turf-toe. I had sustained a blunt landing to the ball of my right foot when i had jumped over something and misjudged what was on the other side of what i was jumping over. I had played volleyball on it taping it and going to the trainer but the pain really never subsided. I was in a cam walker on a few different occasions and a post op shoe, then i was on crutches for about a month before a week ago. Having new stiffer shoes it is still uncomfortable to walk. I have done as much research as i can and don't really have a grasp of the medical terminology of what could be surrounding my foot issue but sesamoiditis was the latest diagnose of my podiatrist. He had just told me to stay off it but in doing that my left food had started to hurt around the same area. Now im not sure what to do or who to turn to as it feels walking is making it worse with every proper step. I had modified my gait so that i was walking on the outside of my feet (something i extremely hated) And would like an experience podiatrist (having doubts in my current one) to help diagnose whats wrong with my feet and proper treatment. Seeing all these posts on hallus vagus and other somewhat scary diagnosis to me is intimidating and somewhat discouraging turning me into a hypochondriac. its particularly frustrating as i love to walk and run and move around. Ive had alot of physical activity in the past which probably attributes to my current situation but im ready to do whatever it takes to heal. Bound in my computer chair hoping for someone who can shed light on what to do, i ask you podiatry arena.
Until then, ill be here at my desk immobilized out of fear ill never be able to walk comfortably again.

    Thanks in advance,
