I would suggest that you get on the internet and do some research, as Australia is a vast country which offers different landscapes and lifestyles. There are also different options in terms of where you work (public sector vs private practice, specialities or not, etc etc).

Consider also the visa options available to you. There are pros and cons of every visa you'd be eligible for, and you have to decide what's right for you. If you're looking for a permanent move it may suit you more to get a permanent visa. If you prefer not to be tied to an employer you may prefer an indenpendent visa. If you have a particular State in mind you could go for a state-nominated visa.

You have many decisions to make, and they must all be personal to you. I could tell you what I did and why I did it, but it only reflects my life and the things that matter to me.

Good luck - from one who has been through the process (so glad it's all behind me now!).

    Sarah
