What do folks think about MTB shoes?

MBT's can be useful for Sagital plane problems but probably due to a large ground contact area it can exacerbate retro-patella and medial knee problems.
Many patients swear by them, but paying over £150 for a pair of shoes that allegedly imitate (Massai) barefoot walking, rather than taking your shoes off seems excessive.

Slightly off topic, but this whole market of these SACH/rocker sole shoes has just taken an interesting turn.

Dunlop have just delivered their attack on the market with a retail price of $75 for women's shoe and will release a men's range early in the new year for about the same price(?)

First container sold out in record time.

They look quite good compared to the $220 Sketches.....

    David ...

I'm going to assume the Dunlap is being distributed down in your areas. We have a recent glut of cheap SACH-soled rocker athletic shoes. These include those from Avia and Dr. Scholl's. It's amazing how quickly questionable shoes can be imitated and produced, just to make a couple quick bucks. It's also funny how we regularly see new pairs being worn into the office, but never well-worn pairs.
