Hi, does anyone have an effective treatment plan for dealing with painful metatarsal bursae? Tried all the usual felt pmp pads, poron inserts, eva inserts with cutouts around the affected area etc.
Referrals to GP's or surgeons get little reward, usually told they are not worth treating as they wil only reoccur. Any other ideas, anyone ever tried draining one? Ta :deadhorse:

    Intermetatarsal or sub-metatarsal?
    Ultrasound confirmation?

Sub metatarsal, no ultrasound confirmation, just palpable detection.
