I'm a third year student and I was just wondering whether anyone knows of any assessment tests to determine midtarsal joint instability. I do the usual checking for rom pronation and supination at this joint but I really want to know if there's some sort of test to determine if the mid foot is unstable. And then perhaps another test to determine if the midtarsal joint locking mechanism is working sufficiently. I've looked far and wide for these answers so would really appreciate it if anyone can help me on this.
