Can anyone advise me whether there is a legal requirement to have oxygen and defibrillator during nail surgery procedures (NHS)
We have adrenaline available but that is all. A clinical emergency last week focused our attention on this and I would appreciate any information anyone can give.

    Hi karentg,
No, it is not a legal requirement but it is Best Practice.

A lot depends on your Trust's policy on this.

I think it goes without saying, that if you are going to have this equipment available then all staff should be familiar with its usage.

    regards
