    Hi All,

I have just come across a New Entry Classification in the Yellow Pages and YELL.COM . It would appear that from the 1st. August 2005 a New Classification exists!

    ...............................'FOOT HEALTH'...............................................

Examining YELL.COM we have the following title classification,

    1. Foot Health.

    2. Visiting Foot Health.

    3. A Visiting Footcare Practice, (Chiropody mentioned in the firms title.).

    4. Foot Health - A Toe Nail Clinic.

    5. Footcare - Foot Health.

    6. Heels & Toes - Foot Health.

    7. Foot Health - Chiropody-Podiatry Clinic.

There are 100 entries to date in YELL.COM !

    Three of interest,

    1. ...............S.R.Ch., M.Ch.S. - Foot Health.

    2. Mobile Chiropodist - Foot Health.

    3. One of the most successful Podiatrists in Sunderland - Foot Health, and why not!

Respectability has almost been achieved for our friends the FHP's without the HPC. Registration prediction occurring through the Yellow Pages and www.yell.com !

Is this a check or a balance?

    Regards,

    Colin.

PS. Brethren/Bretherness be careful, specific accusations could be costly! There are Registered Chiropodists/Podiatrists advertising here amongst the FHP's.!

    Dear Mr Bain
Mrs Janet Taylor senior administrator of the Alliance has been negotiating for the last three years to gain this stand alone page classification.
This stance probably arose when it became apparent that the unregistered where to be ignored by the other professional bodies and the HPC.
Again it seems the Alliance is the ONLY body striving for true unity in the profession.
Congratulations for her hard work and determination should applauded by all, thank you very much Mrs Taylor.

As an outsider looking in I see the exact opposite - they are the one organisantion dividing the profession.

    An Unfortunate Turn of Phrase?

    Hi Jester,

    A curious turn of phrase?

Quote:- ".......... the unregistered where to be ignored by the other professional bodies and the HPC."

'And the HPC.?' Do you know something I don't or is this an unfortunate turn of phrase for somebodies future?

If this is a grammatical error will you please tell Janet to get a move on down there the suspense is killing me?

    Regards,

    Colin.

PS. Have you still got that fire extinguisher handy Admin. I have a nasty feeling you might be needing it again! Little Tony rides again perhaps?
