    Hi All,

I've been treating a 9-year-old boy with acute, soft-tissue ankle equinous and heel pain. The Rheumatologist has done MRI and all other physiological examinations necessary to exclude a systematic/anatomical cause and invasive treatment is not on the horizon yet.

I provided him with an OTC night-splint as he is, obviously, going to need to use it for a while and my own attempts at making them myself from plaster-of-paris bandages and laces have not been exactly what you would call........durable!!!!!

However, although he is a Size 5 shoe, even the smallest night splint is still too big for him around the calf.

Does anyone know of a supplier of Childrens' Night Splints?

I've searched everywhere and can't find anything targeted specifically at Children's calf sizes.

Thanks to anyone that can help!

    Where abouts are you ?
We have a great supplier of night splints in Melbourne - that do post all over Australia - they are about $90 each from memory - very adjustable etc - have used them heaps and get really good results. Let me know where you are and I'll dig up the supplier :)

    Hey Bug,

Thanks for that info. These options all look a lot better!

The other option is aquaplast. Heat moulded splint that is quite durable and cost effective
