I am currently looking at purchasing either the PadNet (BioMedix) system, or the SensiLase system (Vasamed). I am interested in opinions of others who have used these units for vascular testing. I have had presentations from both companies, and would like some non-biased input. It seems the main issue is that the PadNet folks insist that testing with the SensiLase system, which uses a combination of laser doppler to measure skin perfusion pressure and pulse volume recording, does not meet medicare's guidelines for billing purposes. Of course, the Vasamed people say otherwise. Also, for those familiar with both systems, which do you find more useful clinically?
