    dear all,

    I tagged MRI pictures of 21 yrs old male, generalized ligament laxity came to my clinic with severe ankle pain for 2 weeks.
    He is walking with limp. o/e swelling around the ankle ,tenderness over subtalar region. ankle and subtalr movements are painful.

    how to proceed with this patient?

    Hello Dr. Gandhi

    The arrow on your larger coronal slice doesn't really look pathologic to me. The ankle, talar dome, plafond as well, look normal.

    The os calcis, particularly the T2 has obvious activity. A few more representative slices and plain films would be helpful.

    Hx of trauma? Perhaps jumping? This may just represent a compression fracture.
