I have a patient with bilateral bipartite sesamoids. With orthotics and corrrect footwear we managed to keep her pain free for 6 weeks. They have now become painful again. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the surgical removal of sesamoids and what the outcome was?

Hi - I literally have a case going right now the same except unilateral. The client is just about to book for Sx, so hopefully I can give you an update soon. Freaking annoying to treat though!!
