    Dear all,
First of all, I must thank for this forum to highlight one of my research findings. I'm a footwear researcher based in Hong Kong. I would like to hear your opinion about our study in podiatrict stand point.

    Hi Channa

It was good to read your article. It is of interest for podiatrists to look at the difference between the foot outline and the shoe last (what you describe as dimensional difference).

Your subjects wore three dress shoes and one athletic shoe, and evaluated the fit in different areas of the shoe. it would be interesting to look at other types of shoes - related to occupation such as nurses or workers who have to stand.

Comfort is something we only ask patients but we very rarely document. Anna Mundermann's comfort score is scale we use in research to evaluate foot orthoses.

The work looks interesting. however I am not an academic and don't have access to the full article. Can you tell us some more about the research?

    hi Ian,
I'm not sure about the legality of attaching a journal paper on a public forum. If you don't mind please write to me. my email is "channa@ust.hk".
I will send you the author copy.
