It completely depends on which state you work in and whether you work private or public and it depends on what award your employer works from.

Private- you could earn up to $100k but you will need experience and you will need to be able to offer your clients a great service, for a new grad you would look at a retainer for 3-6 months of about $55k then when you have built a reputation take 40-50% of billings, this is a bench mark- do not take it as gospel

Public or Community- expect to start as a new grad on $55k, grade 2 (VIC) $66k but you will need 4-5 years experience to be at grade 2

Locum- you can earn 25% more per hour as a casual as you are not entitled to holidays or sick leave, hard to judge not knowing your background but I would look at $35 an hour as benchmark.

If you need any more information or want to discuss employment opportunities I am a specialist in the podiatry market and am working on 11 jobs at the moment and would be happy to hear from you.

Best of luck and kindest regards,
