I am very interested in the PA pundits opinions on those journal articles that are at the top of the 'must read (and know)' list, like McPoil and Hunt's. appreciate any suggestions, mark

Also what happened to that section on PA listing those threads 'essential' for students.

Thanks Ian, tried to fit 'mechanotransduction' into a conversation over lunch with my wife terri; attempted to elaborate without resorting to rushing to the computer ..... and before Mueller and Maluf thought i'd better re-read McPoil and Hunt (been a while) .... smart blokes, good read, mark

Without being a pundit I think the free body diagram concept from EA Fuller (2000) The windlass mechanism of the foot. A mechanical model to explain pathology. Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association: January 2000, Vol. 90, No. 1, pp. 35-46. ( http://www.japmaonline.org/doi/10.7...d=ori:rid:crossref.org&rfr_dat=cr_pub=pubmed& ) is very important from beginning.

Although, not terribly clinically oriented all the works by David Winter on joint power. There is an interesting progression from his early concept of support moment to looking at which muscles at which joints power gait. He also had a couple of good papers on balance.

Goodaye Petcu, I shouldn't have used 'pundit', I mean anyone with an interest and time to reply; certainly have got Dr Fuller on my list, all the best, mark
