I have a question about Ryn. On their website you used to be able to find retailers that carried them in the US, and it said "Canadian dealer list coming soon." Now when you click "Where to Buy" it just takes you to an online store. So my question is how can I find brick and mortar stores that carry them?

This is where things get a little tricky. Ryn is coming out of a 2-year period of dormancy, a victim of what I like to call the "Skechers Effect". Consumers refused to buy any thing that looked like a rocker-sole shoe, and retailers, still overstocked with Skechers Shape-Ups and MBTs, were not willing to add shoes to that category. I am still talking to retailers that sell a few MBTs here and there, but have 400 - 1,000 pairs of the shoes in their stockroom.

Skechers has moved away from their toning shoes, and is focusing more on minimalist running shoes. Inventories are dwindling in warehouses and stockrooms and Shape-Ups are becoming a "fuzzy memory" in the minds of consumers.

Brands like Ryn are starting to re-emerge, but their availability worldwide won't happen until retailers are fully ready to embrace the line. Ryn, Finn Comfort "Finnamic", Sano by Mephisto, and Aetrex BodyWorks are all good to high-quality shoes that will survive the toning shoe debacle.

You can always try calling the US distributor of Ryn at (208) 287-3646 to inquire about international shipping. I will also try to obtain a list of international distributors from some of my Korean friends from Ryn.
