Hi

I would like to enquire if any Pods have used the footscan 3D plate-gait Scientific from RS Scan.If so can you comment on ease of use,compatibilty with motion analysis software particularly dartfish or Contemplas.I would be particularly interested to know if people have used it in a Research capacity as well as a clinical capacity.
One more question..are the sensors durable?

Any input/insight or advice will be appreciated

Among the pressure mapping systems out there, this one in particular peaks my curiosity, especially when I look at their mat size ranges. I'm guessing they've spent a good deal of money engineering their product, and the long mat to me seems like a good way to monitor a person's gait, although in-shoe pressure analysis is probably a less expensive and more practical approach. That they have such a beast, as shown on
youtube is promising. Their prefab "ready made" devices also suggest that they are very aware that they cannot produce an accurate prescription device with their hardware. At least they know their limitations. As per normal with pressure mapping systems, everything but the arch is shown in their 'scans'.
