I know there have been similar concepts, but these seem much better - a good versatile all-round shoe for hiking/running & exploring over beach/rock pool areas.

    Aloha,

I wonder how they perform while stepping on nails or kiawa thorns or sharp lava rocks?

Could someone explain to me how EVA foam is 100% recyclable ?

"The shoes are made of soft composite foam that is 100% recyclable"

Can you melt down EVA to be re-blown into a new shoe?

    Mahalo,
    Steve

Can anyone tell, do companies pay to have adverts on this forum? Thanks

Nope. We carry press releases and info on new products if we think they are useful to the user to know about.

    Aloha,

Ok i see how in this video EVA foam can be shredded but how do you make another pair of shoes out of the shreddings?

I could claim that my boxer briefs are also 100% recyclable. Any takers for my old pairs?

    Aloha,

I forgot to mention that i will repair the holes in the underwear but the saggy elastic waist bands you will just have to live with.

    Aloha (G'day) Steve.

I would think based on the midsole material & thickness of these shoes one would have to be careful of nails & kiawa thorns (as with most shoes - except for your development shoe)... as for lava rocks (of your homeland of Hawaii), the sole would probably wear quicker than on usual terrain of grass, dirt, asphalt etc... However, these seemingly versatile water footwear would still be a better (safer) option than that of bare feet which would be the usual choice (apart from thongs/flip flops) around my stated beach/rock/coastline scenario (well, as far as Australia is concerned).

    Mahalo,
    Matt.
