    I haven't heard of any benefits of prolotherapy for sesamoiditis.
    If you have tried deflection of pressure (orthotics), rest, muscle training etc. I would agree that further imaging needs to be performed. Especially if you have had no relief. Sesamoiditis can be recurring but with the above treatment you should have had some relief.
    A walking cast/moonboot may be an option. Would be for a minimum of 6 weeks.
