    HI Everyone,

I am 2 years out and have worked in a few position where I have worked on DVA patients and the claiming side of things has been handled by the employer, I could log into my account & the claims would appear in my online medicare account. I have just started working at a new place and they have asked me to give their book keeper a PKI (which I don't have and never have) so they can log in and do the claims. I am not comfortable with this and am hoping to get some information or guidance on the subject.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Alesha

Hi Alesha, I don't have the answer but I will ask around. On the face of it, handing over the billing responsibility to someone else in this way, would seem to demand a lot of trust & confidence. What if the claims are mishandled? Are there other doctors working in the office to talk about this?
