Am I right to feel very concerned about our profession having gone to university and completed the 1000 clinical hours?

My understanding is that it has gone through all the appropriate regulatory processes and meets all the criteria that it needed to.

 

While I am now a long way separated from podiatric education, I have always maintained an active interest in distance learning. When on the staff at a UK school many years ago, I tried to persuade the powerrs that be that a distance learning course was the way to go (in addition, not instead of a conventional course).
