Special thanks goes to Carlos Verges Salas for his hard work and dedication in initiating and spearheading this project for the Spanish-speaking International Podiatric Medical community. In addition, many thanks also goes to the other members of the translation/editing team, Baldiri Prats Climent and Sonia Martinez Aldaz, who, along with Carlos, made this project possible.

We will be introducing these new Spanish Edition books at the Spanish National Congress in Valladolid, Spain in two weeks which also celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Spanish Podiatric Medical Profession. ¡Enhorabuena!

    So Dennis:

Here you go blowing your own horn, you entrepreneur you.

Selling your wares for profit and to upgrade your name in the world of biomechanics.

We here on The Arena are purely interested in the science of biomechanics and give our all for nothing to the science for the good of practitioners and patients alike.

Your bias and personal opinion is probably worth something but in reality, since almost all that is contained in these personal writings is texted and not peer reviewed, not very much in an EBM sense.

There is no real evidence that your theories are based upon and furthermore they require some large leaps of faith that unless taken, leaves one to wonder about its flaws and falsehoods until proven.

Oh wait, these are Kevin's books that he is self promoting...not Dennis

    Where's the eliminate Dennis button.

Why hasn't he gone into oblivion where I predicted he would go?

How much is $139 in spanish?

Kevin should be proud (as I am) of his accomplishments and he should shout them to the world. But so should I and that is where I have the problem with The Arena editors and faithful.

I have treated more pro bono patients in my career than you have treated patients. You do not know (or care) who I am.

Let's see how Kevin handles my next announcement of something that I have created or am involved in as that will determine my reaction to his similar posts "patting himself on the back".

I made my one post and I'm done.

It will be a great help for the Spanish Podiatrist.

Enhorabuena Kevin, Carlos, Sonia y Baldiri!

For a very worthwhile project, that I am sure will be appreciated by many in the field of biomechanics whose 1st language is Spanish.

Great to hear about successful cross-continent collaborations too.

Seguro que lo pasarais genial en Valladolid :drinks

    Hi John,

Are you going to Valladolid? If so, can you recommend any cheap accomodation for those still thinking of going?

Must catch up soon, not really picnic weather though, eh?

    Cheers,
    Bel

    Hi Bel,

Have you guys looked at these ones? Up to you but I'd opt for NH (the 2nd one below), says it is close to the Trade Fairs and they are usually decent quality! Unfortunately I'm unable to make it. Great idea to catch up soon and even another Saturday am session, if you're up for it?

Hope all well and have a great time if you go.
