    Hi all

Has anyone had experience of sub-letting rooms, and if so have you found it easy to fill them? I also wondered about the best place to advertise this - local newspaper maybe? Any advice would be much appreciated.
I'm UK based by the way.

You don't say if you own the premises or rent them yourself? If you are renting, ensure your own lease agreement allows sub-letting.
Think carefully about your own business needs and make a list of what sub tenants you consider would be complimentary to your practice scope and style.
Do you want someone else in health?
Would you prefer a quiet accountant who just shut their door and had no contact with you (or your clients)?
Then target these people via advertising in their specific industry publications or web sites.
The wrong sub tenant could be disastrous for both your business and mental health, but the right one could have significant financial benefits.
Any arrangement should be formalized by a lease or contract to ensure both parties are protected and know their obligations, including proportional contribution to outgoings.
Play it safe and don't commit to anything long term until the working relationship has been proven successful.

    Food for thought,

    Brenda.
