Just out of interest, in early stage haematoma <24 hours post trauma, does anyone else seal the nail plate drain following aspiration and if so, any observations on reattachment resolution rates?

    Cheers

    Hi Mark
I have noticed an increase in A & E units using this methos and informing the pt the nail will re-attach. I have seen some that have and some that have not so no help there but I dont know if any study has been done with A&E which I would expect to see as many if not more than us on a regular basis ??
    Cheers
