    Hi
I have recently been receiving orthodontal treatment and during my care we discussed biomechanics of foot function and its influence on a patients bite. My surgeon dismissed the concept but was interested to read any documentation re a connection to and the benefits of functional foot orthoses.
I vaguely remember reference being made to such a concept but forget where.
Could anyone steer me in the right direction or suggest references in order that I might pass on to my colleague

    Regards

    Paul Barcroft

  4. I would put the link at about the level of insoles and infertility. You can draw a theoretical connection but it's a million miles from being "shown" much less proven.
