    I still haven't got my hands on a copy of the whole article, but those headlines certainly seem a bit sensationalist to me (what a shock - the media spinning things to look more eye-catching!).

    The study assessed people who already had knee OA and the differences in knee loading across different footwear conditions. Q: How does this show us that flip flops prevent knee OA in healthy subjects? A: It doesn't.
