This would have to be the best effort l have seen from a scammer, even down to the senders email address of "noreply@un.org <jjk@un.us>"

  2. Why do all the people who send me unsolicited e-mails who also say that have multiple millions of dollars for me from somewhere in the African continent?? How come someone from the UK or Australia never wants to send me that type of money?! What's wrong with the Brits and Aussies anyway??!! ;)

Good first-ish post Andy - right on the nail:good:.

The grammar, occasionally the spelling, sometimes both, let them down every time.

I don't get scam emails very often - I think they already hacked my bank account, took a look, and placed me on a black list:D.

That might be because the Aussies, and the Brits are too tight to tell you that they owe you millions of dollars.

Statement supplied by: one of the many Brits now waving a Blue, White, and Red flag overseas.:drinks

Yes, I also am getting tired of these type of jerks. I have never been exposed to so many scammers since I started running my own business (nearly 10 years now)... then again, maybe it's the sign of the times. Still, I think these jerks feel they can try & take advantage of small businesses... either via email or by phone. There seems to be an increasing number of people out there who are greedy for money... whilst at the same time do not have the talent, skills, work ethic, initiative to earn money in an honest & fair dinkum (Australian slang) fashion... not only attempting to leach one's hard earned money but also one's precious time as well!

Scammers seem to be everywhere & in many guises... here is a humorous account of an email exchange with a scammer (a leach):

    - The following is one of the best email exchanges you will ever read (click link) [warning: there is some language (as you would expect), but that shouldn't bother most on this forum ;)]

You usually find a certain character trait with scammers/leaches... it's all about them (the world revolves around them) & nothing else matters.
