Initially, I had a patient visit me 9 months ago with a really unusual lesion. She is 52 years old and is fit and healthy. The lesion presented itself as a large painful haematoma. I saw her yesterday and the lesion is still there and if anything has become greater in size and has been broken open since her first visit. She has had various creams and antibiotics from the GP which have been no use. She has also had a scan and an X-ray which have not revealed anything. I have referred her back to her GP for a biopsy.
I would be grateful for any opinions about this as I am a bit puzzled.
Cheers.
PS. I hope the photo comes out ok as it is my first post.
