Usain's feet are predictably "messed up" due to the extreme training and rigorous demands on his forefoot. But the problems you see are one of the reasons why he's so fast. Take a look at the pic. Dorsal bunion, and slight HAV=he has a MPE which in turn, creates a hallux limitus deformity. This is one of the reasons why he successfully can transfer energy into the sagittal plane. Now...Usain is not only a 100 meter specialist, but a 200 meter champion as well. He is not always on the ball of his feet when running. But it's the limitation of this motion in the sagittal plane where he derives much of his forward thrust and power...that, and his very long legs.

Many an athlete has this biomechanical "flaw"...and while it makes them a lot faster and able to deliver greater force, it haunts them down the road. Patrick Willis, former Pro-Bowl LB for the SF 49ers, being just one example.
