I have a patient in the other day 53 yr. old male - not a diabetic. Good blood flow but had been seen by a dermatologist for a plantar wart. He had been using twice a week a mixture of 2U 5-FU (Fluracil) and 98% Pyuvuric Acid. It appears he got some of the acid on the skin just outside the wart. The wart is gone but he has a small 3 mm hole in his foot not infected but will not heal. It appears that it is a result of a acid burn from the mixture.

I performed a light debridement and prescribed Silvadene cream. What are your thoughts if this does not heal in the next 3 weeks? Keep in mind good blood flow not diabetic overall health is great. I did a sample biopsy over to the lab for review.
The woiund is located on the metatarsal pad of the foot which only had minimal to low callous on this area. If it does not heal what is my best next steps.
