Hi there all,
I was just wondering if anyone out there has used a web-based appointment booking system for their work? Working out of a number of GP surgeries, currently the reception staff are just using a diary to make bookings. The problem with this is that I am at a different location each day and thought it would be great to be able to access upcoming days appointment lists remotely via the internet. I thought if there were any appointment booking systems available on the web that would be a much better option. Does anyone have experience with this? Is there any free or cheap web-based ones which you would recommend?

Google Calendar; its free; just give permission to access to each place you work at:

If you use Microsoft Outlook, there is a way to make it avaialbe online for others to access:

Have you or anyone you know used Google Calander before for podiatry appointments?
Do you know if there is any way to change the default appointment slot to 20minutes instead of the alloted 30mins?
It would be a pain having to edit it each time a new appointment was added.

And no, I don't use Microsoft Outlook.

we have been using google calendar for about a year and have found it very unreliable. We have around 5 clinicians and it's forever dropping memebrs from the calendar and losing appointments. We are about to try myoffice.

Customers make their own bookings as well as you or your staff.
Email and/or text reminders can be sent to customers as appointment reminders on the previous/same day.
Your diary is automatically updated at any location.
Appointment times can be modified to suit your schedule.

We've been using need more time www.needmoretime.co.uk online calendar for years. Absolutely brilliant, have as many pages / clinics / clinicians as you like and full editing control. It costs us about £8.50 per month - bargain.
