Interesting; as the article also stated... it does depend on the content the "young minds" are engaging in. I would also be interested on the impact of video games (outside the scope of article) on "young minds" due to their usual violent nature... possibly leading to a more apathetic generation (i.e. to violence, human welfare).

The following quote would be an interesting study also...

However, I would certainly question the (unconducive) impact on physical development (i.e. aerobic fitness, muscle development). It wouldn't surprise me if the percentage of (classified) "fit" high schoolers has dropped since the 80's & 90's.
