Can anyone give me some ideas as to why my patient is in so much pain in both her feet. She is 30 years old works as a nurse spends long shifts mainly on her feet. GP keeps fobbing her off with painkillers, but she finds this unhelpful and unacceptable. Eventually she found me and initially I tried Low Dye taping which definitely helped, and subsequently have prescribed some semi-bespoke orthotics. Although she finds these helpful she is still in great pain - sometimes to the point of vomiting!
I have reviewed her orthotics and am satisfied they are suitable, but clearly this is far more than a biomechanical problem. Meanwhile GP has suggested a referral to a rhuematologist. I just wondered whether the collective pods on the Arena might give me some more ideas.
    Thank You
