Are you at the point in your career where you want to use your skills in a different way? Do you still want to learn, help people and push yourself professionally?

A unique opportunity for an experienced podiatrist is available for a full time position working in both a clinical and lab environment. The position is shared across 2 businesses: Queensland Orthotic Laboratory and Performance Podiatry & Physiotherapy.

Queensland Orthotic Lab is the market leader in hand-crafted and digital custom foot orthotics. Established over 30 years ago QOL prides itself on a high level of service to our clients and producing the highest quality products. The position in QOL is for 3-4 days/week at the Capalaba lab in Brisbane's bayside. It entails cast assessment and evaluation, CADCAM modelling, client services and quality control. In short, this position is to provide the link between our highly trained technicians and our clients. This is a non-clinical role, but requires the skills of a podiatrist with a great interest in biomechanical podiatry. An eye for detail is required for this component of the job.

Performance Podiatry & Physiotherapy is a multidisciplinary clinic close to the CBD in West End. The clinic offers podiatry, physiotherapy and Pilates to a broad patient demographic. The clinical position is for 1-2 days/week. Whilst the focus of the clinic is the athletic/active patient, we are a full scope practice including children, general treatment and nail surgery. The clinical component would involve working on a Saturday morning (with a half day off during the week).

The mix between clinical and non-clinical podiatry would provide the right candidate a great balance and opportunities to learn and grow their skills quickly whilst communicating with podiatrists in private and public practice to assist them in getting the best outcomes for their patients.
