Bone Death (AVN)

    Has anyone had experience with bone death in any part of their feet? I suffered a Jones fracture 8 weeks ago and was told that it looks like the fracture is healed, but that now the head of my bone under the fracture is dying. I'm seeing a specialist tomorrow (finally) and really really scared for what this means. I do not want surgery and another set of months on crutches. I can't find any research or anything about it and all I can do is think about worse case scenarios. I'm hoping there...
